Houston police busted basketball star Scottie Pippen in April 1999 and charged him with drunk driving. Cops pulled over the six-time NBA champ's Mercedes after seeing him use an oncoming lane to pass cars stopped at a red light. Pippen, who was playing for the Rockets at the time, failed a field sobriety test and refused to take a Breathalyzer. Harris County prosecutors subsequently dismissed the misdemeanor charge.
 

 

Actor Rip Torn was arrested in December 2006 in Westchester, New York and charged with drunk driving after his 1995 Chevy Cavalier collided with a tractor-trailer as he attempted to make a turn. When state police arrived at the scene, the 75-year-old actor refused a Breathalyzer before being taken to a Somers police station where the below mug shot was snapped.
 

 

Michelle Rodriguez and Cynthia Watros, stars of the ABC megahit "Lost," were arrested by Honolulu cops in December 2005 and charged with drunk driving. Rodriguez, 27, and Watros, 37, were nabbed minutes apart as their respective cars weaved along a highway linking Kailua and Honolulu. The actresses, both of whom failed field sobriety tests, were each charged with driving under the influence and released after posting $500 bail. Rodriguez, pictured directly below in a Honolulu Police Department mug shot, plays "Ana Lucia" on the TV series. Watros, who looks pretty toasted in her booking photo, plays "Libby" on the top-rated series.
 

 

Actor Mickey Rourke was arrested in November 2007 by Miami Beach police and charged with driving under the influence. According to cops, the "Sin City" star was seen making an illegal U-turn on his Vespa scooter and then weaving across the road. Once stopped, police noted that Rourke had bloodshot eyes and smelled of booze. He also didn't perform well on a series of sobriety tests. Rourke, 55, was then transported to the Miami-Dade County jail where he posed for the below mug shot and was held on $1000 bond.
 

 

Former "NYPD Blue" star Kim Delaney was popped in Los Angeles in January 2002 for drunk driving. In February 2002, the actress pleaded no contest to reckless driving and was sentenced to probation and ordered to pay a fine.
 

 

Director Gus Van Sant was arrested in December 2006 on a drunk driving charge in Oregon. Van Sant, 54, was popped by Portland cops and booked into the Multnomah County jail, where the below mug shot was snapped. The Portland resident was nominated for an Academy Award for 1997's "Good Will Hunting," and has also directed "Elephant," "Drugstore Cowboy," and "My Own Private Idaho."

 

 

 

Former Phish frontman Trey Anastasio was arrested in December 2006 by upstate New York cops for driving while intoxicated and illegal possession of a variety of medications (Xanax, Percocet, and Hydrocodone) prescribed in someone else's name. Anastasio, 42, whose real first name is Ernest, was nabbed by Whitehall police just miles from the Vermont border following a traffic stop. He was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, DWI-drugs, and driving without a license.
 

 

Actress Tracey Gold, who starred in TV's "Growing Pains" and famously went public with her anorexia battle, was arrested in September 2004 for drunk driving after rolling her SUV--carrying her husband and three young boys--down a California freeway embankment. The 35-year-old Gold, pictured below in a Ventura County Sheriff's Office mug shot, was busted by California Highway Patrol officers and charged with a felony count of driving under the influence causing injury. According to a CHP spokesman, Gold was driving a 2001 GMC Yukon on Route 118 at about 11:51 PM on September 3 when she lost control of the vehicle. While Gold's husband and two of her sons (ages five and four months) were not seriously injured, the actress's oldest child, 7-year-old Sage, suffered a broken clavicle and a head laceration. After CHP officers administered sobriety tests, Gold was arrested on the DUI charge.
 

 

Actor Tim Allen was busted in May 1997 by Bloomfield Township, Michigan cops and charged with drunk driving. He later pleaded guilty and was ordered to pay a fine and attend alcohol counseling.
 

 

Bon Jovi lead guitarist Richie Sambora was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, according to police in Laguna Beach. Sambora, 48, failed a series of sobriety tests administered to him after being pulled over south of downtown Laguna Beach shortly before 11 p.m. on Tuesday, March 26, said Sgt. Jason Kravetz.

Nicole Richie had her first serious run-in with the law in 2003, when she was charged with heroin possession and driving with a suspended license.

In 2006, Nicole got into hot water once again when she was caught driving the wrong way on the freeway. She admitted to having smoked marijuana and taken Vicodin and was sentenced to four days in jail.

Actor Haley Joel Osment was charged with drunk driving and marijuana possession after he crashed his 1996 Saturn station wagon while returning home from a Los Angeles concert in July 2006. The 18-year-old Osment, who starred as the boy who saw dead people in "The Sixth Sense," suffered minor injuries in the accident and was briefly hospitalized. Osment, who posed for a mug shot snapped by an L.A. sheriff's deputy, was released from custody after posting a $15,000 bond.
 

 

Dawn Wells, Mary Ann on the show "Gilligan's Island," was sentenced Feb. 29 to five days in jail, fined $410.50 and placed on probation after pleading guilty to one count of reckless driving.
 

 

Honolulu Police arrested "Lost" actor Daniel Dae Kim on Oct. 25, 2007 in Hawaii after an officer spotted him driving erratically at about 2:30 a.m.
 

 

Chris Klein, the 26-year-old "American Pie" star, was arrested in February 2005 after San Diego sheriff's deputies pulled over a 2003 BMW he was driving. Klein was charged with two misdemeanors, each of which carries a maximum of six months in jail upon conviction. According to the criminal complaint, Klein had a blood alcohol content of .20 or higher, which is more than twice the California limit of .08. The actor was booked into a sheriff's lockup where he got fingerprinted and posed for the below mug shot.
 

 

Billie Joe Armstrong was arrested by Berkeley, California cops in January 2003 and charged with drunk driving. The 30-year-old punk rocker was behind the wheel of his black BMW convertible when police pulled him over for speeding. After smelling booze on his breath, police administered a Breathalyer test, with Armstrong blowing a .18, more than twice the state's legal limit of .08.

Backstreet Boy Nick Carter was arrested by California cops in March 2005 and charged with drunk driving. The 25-year-old singer was pulled over at about 7:30 PM for a traffic violation and was determined to be drunk during questioning by police. After failing a field sobriety test, Carter was booked into the Huntington Beach City Jail and released after four hours in custody. Carter was issued a citation and, according to a police spokesman, officers are determining whether to file additional charges against the performer.
